Seminar on Contractor Licensing Issues & Construction Contracts

Trent Cotney, PA will be giving a seminar on Friday, July 19th 2013 as a part of the FRSA 91st Annual Convention and Trade Show.  The seminar will cover contractor licensing issues and construction contracts.  This course begins by reviewing Chapter 489, licensing and regulations, who is exempt from licensure, consequences of unlicensed activity and disciplinary actions taken by the CILB.  Trent will provide a basic overview of contract law, and discuss the essential terms of a contract – price, scope of work, notices, time of delivery and other important contract provisions.  This seminar will be from 8:00 – 10:00 am and will count for 2.0 hours C.E. credit.
