New Rules Set Targets for Hiring of Vets, Workers With Disabilities

The Labor Department implements today a new rule imposing employment targets for workers with disabilities and veterans at federal contractors as part of the government's bid to lower unemployment among these groups. Organizations such as the Associated General Contractors of America have asserted the new rules represent a costly step.
