Detroit Begins Revival With Major Construction Projects

The new $650 million stadium for Detroit's professional hockey team and the $140 million M1 streetcar line were among the big construction stories in Detroit last year; however, the city also began other major projects, including a $500 million redevelopment of the Packard Plant, 278 residential units on the riverfront, and a $279 million renovation of the Cobo Center.
