N.Y. University Must Decide in 2 years on Roof-Replacement Plan for Stadium

The roof of Syracuse University's Carrier Dome is likely to need replacement by 2024 at a cost of about $25 million. The school has about two years to decide on a course of action, whether it is installing a fabric roof or either a permanent or retractable metal roof. The current roof is expected to last five more years.
