A steel-sheet roofing product integrates thin-film solar photovoltaic and solar thermal technologies. Developed by Australia-based Bluescope, the system generates energy while collecting heat. The surface produces energy similar to photovoltaic modules, and also absorbs heat between the two layers, allocating that for water and space heating.
