10th-largest U.S. Electrical Contractor Files for Bankruptcy

Business units of the nation's 10th-largest electrical contractor, the family-owned Truland Group, have filed for bankruptcy in federal court in Alexandria, Virginia, and the company has shut down. Truland reportedly had a lot of work in the Washington, D.C. area, but it is unclear how many projects it had going when it stopped operations the day before the court filing.
