Mark Twain's Childhood Home to Receive New Roof
Mark Twain's childhood home
will receive a new roof with wooden shingles to match the original look of the
house. The current roof "dates back to the 1990-91 restoration of the
Boyhood Home, so we've been 23 years with that roof," said Henry Sweets,
executive director of the Boyhood Home and Museum.
