Construction Costs Increase Most Since 2008

A report by Rider Levett Bucknall shows that construction costs increased 1.66% from July 1 to Oct. 1. It was the largest increase since 2008. The report attributed the increase to improvements in financing for construction projects as well as a better market for commercial and residential construction. Honolulu and San Francisco were the top U.S. markets responsible for the increase.
