“Apex AC & Refrigeration partnered with Homes for Heroes originally to help veterans and their families in our community,” Patrick Jennings, Apex AC service manager, stated. “We didn’t expect HFH to embed in our business the way it has and boost us to the next level in veterans’ affairs. We now have 3 employees and 2 branches of the U.S. Military working for us and we are enthusiastically looking for more veterans in our employment ads. Staff Sergeant Anthony Cala and his family have been through the worst of times and seeing how excited they were entering the new home for the first time brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. We strive here at Apex AC to MAKE YOU SMILE and that day the smiles were abundant. Thank you Homes for Heroes, and thank you York for giving us the opportunity to assist in this amazing process.”
