Construction Materials More Volatile in January
Construction
materials prices expanded 0.6 percent in January and are up 1.5 percent year
over year, according to the Feb. 19 producer price index released by the
Department of Labor. More specifically, nonresidential construction materials
prices are up 0.5 percent for the month and are 1 percent higher than the same
time one year ago.
