N.Y. University Must Decide in 2 years on Roof-Replacement Plan for Stadium
The roof of Syracuse University's Carrier Dome is likely to need
replacement by 2024 at a cost of about $25 million. The school has about two
years to decide on a course of action, whether it is installing a fabric roof
or either a permanent or retractable metal roof. The current roof is expected
to last five more years.
