Australia Stadium's Folding Copper Roof Provides Unique Look

The new copper roof on Australia's Margaret Court Arena helps the stadium stand out among other buildings in the city. "We were looking to make sure Margaret Court had its own identity," said architect Richard Breslin. The folding roof makes the building appear smaller, and it can provide additional shade on the concourse by folding down to the pedestrian level.
