Detroit Begins Revival With Major Construction Projects
The
new $650 million stadium for Detroit's professional hockey team and the $140
million M1 streetcar line were among the big construction stories in Detroit
last year; however, the city also began other major projects, including a $500
million redevelopment of the Packard Plant, 278 residential units on the
riverfront, and a $279 million renovation of the Cobo Center.
